David Tucker
United States
I am an Illustrator, Graphic artist, and Photographer who has worked in animation and design for over 7 years. I also do a lot of freelance work on the side more for the love of art than anything else. I have been published many times regionally and internationally.

I majored in Sequential Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I also have a degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design.

I always loved drawing but photography and film have also been a great interest and influence in my work. My parents gave me a camera when I was 14 and I haven't stopped trying to take good pictures since.

In 2004 I made a Photo submission to FHM Magazine and won a Guest Editors trip to New York City.

The key I think is to never give up on your art or yourself, no matter what the world may say.

I hope everyone enjoys my art.

Dang, I know I haven't been back for a while, but what happened? Where'd all the images and journals go?

I am trying to figure out if I should post here anymore. have seen some of my work on other websites etc. people taking stuff without permission. that kind of thing. if they would just ask you know?

Hey, thanks for getting back. I don't know that the particular site is the issue it's the internet age. People are constantly getting images stolen from all over the place and posted by others for all types of purposes. That you take a lot of images of nude or nearly nude female models that arent' recognizable celebrities increases the chances of art thieves being attracted to your work regardless of where you post them. If you decide to post I would suggest that you either use the DA watermark or create your own that's pretty similar to the big DA watermark and I wouldn't post images any larger than about 720 pixels horizontal/vertical to discourage enlargement for printing posters etc.

and you are welcome. I am one of the boys:) lol been in the army for about 10 years. National Guard and Reserve. Love the pin ups. Bettie Page is #1. I have her face tattooed with some other things on my shoulder.

In that case let me say thank you for your service. :) Bettie is definitely the ultimate pin-up girl. I love all the old pin-ups from WWII, more old-school. If I give my paintings a more modern face, I try to keep their "mystery" without it looking too lewd. I'm really glad you like this one. :)
